Your Property Surveillance Roadmap
From first conversation to fully autonomous drone coverage — here's exactly what your journey looks like, start to finish.
Discovery & Property Assessment
We start with a no-pressure consultation to understand your property, your goals, and what you need your surveillance system to do for you.
- Initial call to discuss your property and objectives
- Review of acreage, terrain, and key areas to monitor
- Connectivity assessment (cellular / Starlink availability)
- Custom proposal and pricing delivered to you
Contract & Project Kickoff
Once you're ready to move forward, we sign the agreement and collect the initial deposit to begin your project immediately.
- Service agreement signed
- 50% deposit collected to initiate project
- Dedicated project manager assigned to your account
- Onboarding call and timeline confirmed
On-Site Survey & System Design
Our team travels to your property to conduct a thorough site survey. We plan exactly where the drone dock will be placed, map out flight paths, and design your full surveillance coverage.
- Full property walk-through and aerial mapping
- Drone dock location scouted (power & access)
- Flight paths and coverage zones designed
- Connectivity solution confirmed (cellular or Starlink)
- Final system design document delivered
FAA Authorization
Because your system operates autonomously beyond standard visual range, we file for FAA authorization specific to your property. This runs in the background while we prepare everything else.
- FAA BVLOS authorization application filed on your behalf
- Airspace and safety case documentation prepared
- FAA review period (typically 30–90 days)
- Authorization received — cleared for autonomous flight
Equipment Procurement & Preparation
While FAA authorization is processing, we source and configure all hardware and software for your specific property — nothing is off-the-shelf.
- Drone and automated docking station ordered
- Hardware configured and pre-tested
- Reporting dashboard set up with your property details
- Alert thresholds and notification preferences configured
- Installation crew scheduled for your site
Installation & Commissioning
Our crew arrives at your property for a 2–3 day installation. By the time we leave, your system is fully operational and you have complete access to your dashboard.
- Drone docking station mounted and weatherproofed
- Power and connectivity infrastructure installed
- Automated flight schedule programmed
- Full system test flights completed
- Client dashboard walkthrough and training
Go-Live & Active Surveillance
Your property is now under continuous autonomous surveillance. The drone flies multiple times per day, charges itself between flights, and sends you real-time updates — no human operator needed.
- Multiple automated flights per day on your schedule
- Real-time alerts pushed to your phone and email
- Daily and weekly property reports delivered
- Live footage accessible through your dashboard anytime
- Remote system health monitoring by Landhawk team
Ongoing Support & Final Payment
Final payment is collected upon confirmed go-live. After that, Landhawk stays on as your long-term partner — monitoring system health, handling maintenance, and keeping your coverage uninterrupted.
- Final 50% payment collected upon system go-live
- Quarterly property review calls with your project manager
- Annual on-site maintenance visit
- Software and firmware updates managed remotely
- Priority support for any system issues
